German photographer Cibely Dohle portrayed cultural expressions of San Juan Sacatepéquez through the art of photography. Her snapshots show religious ceremonies and special events that show the colors of typical costumes, gastronomy and handicrafts, whose images are part of the exhibition “Culture and its ancestral legacy”. The opening ceremony was held on Thursday June 14 in the National Palace of Culture.
Cibely Dohle is German and was born in El Salvador. She studied photography at The American University, Washington DC, United States of America. She has mounted photographic exhibitions with various cultural topics about Guatemala.
